Eastatoe Falls, NC

From my yearly spring nature photography trip.  The weather couldn’t have been much better, rain, fog, and blue skys!

This was my favorite waterfall on my trip. This 60 ft waterfall is located on private property in Transylvania County at the North Carolina /South Carolina border. Thankfully the property owners permit visitors to enjoy their gem. Thank you to a great nature photographer Kevin Adams for making this location known.

Elk Falls – Avery County, NC – This waterfall can only be photographed nicely on a clear blue day in the morning or evening. Lucky I was in the area as the sun was going down and yet cold enough for all the local swimmers not to be out.

Ash Cave – Hocking Hills State Park, OH –  This is one of the more beautiful places to visit in the whole state of Ohio. If you haven’t been there, you need to go and stay for a weekend.
