Where we went on our first date ~ DC Coast in Washington, DC
The perfect day for us would be ~ Any day where we can just disconnect from our normal day to day and just enjoy each other. Nature walks, biking and a casual night at home. All things we appreciate.
What we admire most about each other is ~ Hugh: She’s straight to the point, faithful and has taught me responsibility. Mostly I admire that she supports me no matter what. | Donnica: I admire his kindness, generosity, dependability.
I knew he/she was the one when ~ Hugh: When I started caring more about her than myself. Doesn’t sound like a big deal in hindsight, but to a guy, it’s a big deal | Donnica: I knew he was the one when I went to Ohio to have my tonsils removed and he sent me a cute care package, called/texted consistently every day to make sure I was okay, and picked me up at the airport (on time) with flowers in hand.
How he proposed ~ After a dinner at her favorite restaurant. We went to the Georgetown Waterfront in Washington, DC and I proposed. We celebrated shortly after by toasting champagne with some friends at a lounge on the waterfront.
Our favorite thing to do together ~ Shopping, casual walks, and biking.
Where we are going on our honeymoon ~ I want to go to an Island; she wants to go Europe… We’re still negotiating that.
